If you are sending information to a group of people, you should FIRST post that information on-line, and THEN you should email everyone about it.

In my opinion really a best practise. Before I am sending my weekly to the European IBM Social Business Community (Notice: Only the people, who have explicitly opted in, some are relying on following our Community, RSS and the Activity Stream), I am posting it in the Community Blog … Works perfect. And makes sure, that a Newsflash is not lot lost in individual Email silos, but stays accessible and retrievable.
